Jazzmyn had been drawing her whole life. Her interests really spiked when she discovered Graphic Novels in 6th grade. Her mother told her some jobs require drawing, and that was all she needed to hear to start trying to get better. She began drawing everything she could so that she could fulfill her dream of getting to draw for a living.

Without any diagnosis, she was always picked out as a high IQ student and put in programs for talented and above average kids. She took college classes at GRCC (Grand Rapids Community College), classes at KCTC (Kent Career Technical Center), and AP courses all while still in high school. With the lack of focus and interest she had to try twice as hard to adapt to the workload. It took all night every night to do homework.
